On March 31st, 2023, a series of storms spawned 23 tornadoes across the state of Indiana. 10 of these tornadoes were significant (EF2+). Sadly, there were 5 fatalities.

This was officially the 5th largest tornado outbreak in Indiana state history. The entire tornado outbreak of March 31st-April 1st, 2023 ranks presently as the 3rd largest in world history.
